paper making: i took a break from darkroom processes and got started on some paper making. i have been meaning to get back to this process for some time and today seemed like the day to do it. i think i just wanted some physical and messy making. i kept things simple – using off-cuts, spoiled prints and some added bits that i found outside the studio in the garden. after a few goes, i started to get a better sense of how much pulp i need for a thin, even page. i also got a better sense of where this process might go next – returning to the landscape image and prehaps embossing text or printing images ontop. some images of the session.
