got back to my 3d processes today and almost finished my tea set (again a problem with the jug mold so ill do that again tomorrow). turns out the textured molds worked fine for shaping the pieces. decided to smooth the inner surfaces as its impossible to shape to forms and keep the texture using this method. got a jumper with some ribbing and cable patterns which translates well in clay. a lovely sunny day so worked outside – also good to see them shaping up outdoors in the landscape…. next step; finish and document my double object work (sun), start digging for clay and forming cup and saucer (mon).
