printing (just printing?)

a bit of making: thought i’d do some screen printing for christmas – nothing about landscape’s gendered framing! but art making all the same. happy to be physically engaged in a process where the outcome is not tied up with ‘what it is doing or saying’ beyond creating a physical card. sometimes success criteria is clear and simple – it has been made. i wonder of one type of making more valuable than another? maybe depends on what i hope to achieve – answer, question, other.

reflection: so productive a making session that i wondered if  i could sustain a practice by screen printing all day. would that type of making ever be enough?
